Sunday, October 3 2010, Brewers V.S. Reds @ Great American Ballpark

Once again today I woke up at 7 with the intentions of playing catch with Brewers Pitcher Jeremy Jeffress:

Jeffress.jpg

I started the day off wtih a John Axford autograph and after the team bus rolled in I was hoping that Jeffress was not on it. About 7 minutes later he pulled up in a taxi and asked me if I was going to be able to get inside with him. I said, “I’ll follow you, If anyone asks I’m with you”. So I followed him in the players entrance and we walked in and he told me he had to go change and to meet him on the field. I went up to the field and got a field pass! I could not believe it. I was on the field and playing catch with a MLB Player. We played catch for a few minutes and after I still got to stay on the field and watch BP. I talked with Carlos Gomez, Craig Counsell, and Brandon Kintzler as well. Before Jeffress went in he signed a baseball for me and gave me the two baseballs we played catch with. This was an experience of a lifetime! Than you Jeremy Jeffress. You made a fan for life! Here’s some pictures:

We would sit behind the dugout for the game and see something interesting. Braun hit a pop fly to RF during the 4th inning and he didn’t run it out or anything. Fielder came into the dugout after the inning and SCREAMED, ITS STILL A EFFING GAME! Braun was benched for the game due to his lack of hustling. I have a feeling he wants out of Milwaukee.

After the game Jeremy Jeffress tossed me his hat and I got Corey Hart and Rickie Weeks batting gloves. It was the best day of my life. I can’t thank Jeremy Jeffress enough.

Friday, October 1 2010, Brewers V.S. Reds @ Great American Ballpark

My day started with me waking up at 5 AM to head to Miller Park to pick up my buddy Kenny. We left Miller Park around 6 and were on our way to Cincinnati for the 3 game homestand against our Milwaukee Brewers. I was very excited to go to Cincinnati and talk with some of the Brewers and get some autographs. We arrived at our hotel in Cincy around 2 PM ET time. As soon as we got checked in we went to the players entrance to try for some autographs and some pictures. I started off the day with a Casey McGehee autograph and picture as well as autographs from Craig Counsell and Trevor Hoffman and pictures with all of them and Alcides Escobar. I learned that either Ryan Braun, 1) Is not very observant at Miller Park, 2) Has a mental problem, or 3) Like to lie and is a flat out dick. I said Hi to him and asked him if he remembered Matt and I shouting during BP Ay Brauny! Every single day we are there and he said no I don’t remember that. I am starting to dislike him more and more every day. Here’s so pictures of the start of the day.

So the gates opened at 5:40 and they would not let me stand by the dugout so I went to talk to Jeremy Jeffress and asked when he wanted to play catch. He said we couldn’t do it during BP but he’d figure something out. So I went on the Prowl for my 300th Career Baseball. I placed myself in LF Center Field with Weeks up to bat. Swing, and a DEEP fly ball. It hit off the top step and into the concourse hitting a wall and bouncing back and rolled down the stairs right to be for BASEBALL #1 and career baseball #300. I was happy. But seconds later Braun hit one and I dove over the seats to catch it on the fly for BASEBALL #2 and Trevor Hoffman was watching me catch it.

I decided to move over to Left Field to play some lefties and to see what would happen.

Cincy 2.jpg

This would be my view and BASEBALL #3 and BASEBALL #4 would get tossed to me by Brandon Kintzler and Joe Inglett. I would proceed to catch another baseball on the fly for BASEBALL #5 off the bat of George Kottaras. Jeremy was happy when I caught the ball and I gave him a fist pump. That was my 304th career baseball and 150th of the year.

For the game this was our view:

One homer was hit in the game and it was Weeks deep to CF. We came close to 2 at the wall but that was it. Good day #1 in Cincinnati.

Wednesday, September 8 2010, Brewers V.S.  Cardinals

I did not attend this game and it went down much like the April 25th game against the Cubs. I came home with Ryan Braun’s 20th home run of the year, 123rd of his career. The home run also marked the 5th Brewer to reach 20+ home runs this year. I also came home with 3 more baseballs.

For the heck of it I’m going to post some pictures of my collections.

Saturday, August 21 2010, Brewers V.S. Padres (Happy Birthday Wiley!), Chases’ first Ballhawk Exp.

So I had an extra ticket for this game and I would hit up my cousin Chase who is going to be a Freshman in High School and hes a bad ***. He’s a ladies man too girls. Give him a call sometime. Anyways the day would begin with the car ride of Chase, Brady ( My Brother ), and I to Miller Park. We arrived and went to Friday’s.
I had my usual seat at Friday’s and had my usual interaction with Ryan Braun when he came to the outfield. Almost right away Extreme Ballhawk Chase got a baseball courtesy of Brewers bullpen Catcher as well as Brady getting a baseball.
Chase.jpgThe gates would open 2 hours ahead of time so we finished our motz sticks and went to the LF bleachers.

I ended up chasing down in the rattling bleachers BASEBALL #1 hit my Casey McGehee and it was my 100th baseball of the year!

Shortly after that I ended up catching BASEBALL #2 on the fly off the bat of Casey McGehee.

Then after the Weeks hit a ball that rattled in the bleachers that I managed to chase down for  BASEBALL #3 and then that group was done.

The next group had Braun in it. He hit one and it was going first row in the section to my left so I ran over and stood in row two and put my glove up ready to catch it and then the guy next to me stuck his glove up and it nicked off his glove and I caught it before it hit the ground for BASEBALL #4!

Batting Practice was about over and the Padres started and the stadium was packed and the Pads weren’t hitting many up to the bleachers. So I went over to RF and got an unidentified Padres player to toss me BASEBALL #5. I was done for the day and it was the first time I hit 5 baseballs in 8 games. Maybe Chase was good luck?

As for the game Sal joined us and Braun made a huge diving catch then came up the next inning to blast a Home Run! The Brewers won the game!

Tuesday, June 22 2010, Brewers V.S. Twins

Today my buddy Matt and I went early to try for some autographs before the game started. It was hotter than hell outside. We wended up getting Kameron Loe and David Riske. Once again I had asked weeks to sign his first home run of the year and he mumbled something I could not make out and walked down the stairs. I feel like I’m never going to get this signed!

We then decided to venture into the stadium and noticed that the Twins were taking an early BP. So we went and stood out above the bullpen by Friday’s and Twins OF Denard Span was out shaggin’ balls. A ball ended up hitting by us and I grabbed it for BASEBALL #1.

Then I politely asked Span for a baseball and he shot it up to me for BASEBALL #2 and I went out to the point and asked him if he’d sign it for me. Sure enough he did, sweet spot and everything. I said thank you and told him good luck and he said thanks and went back to the clubhouse.

I had no luck during Brewers batting practice or during Twins batting practice the whole day after this! When the game started Braun and Edmonds were throwing and Braun does his routine toss up to the LF bleachers and I happened to leap and snag BASEBALL #3 of the day. That wraped up the day and a win to start the series!

Saturday, June 12 2010 Brewers V.S. Rangers

Friday’s above the bullpen was bought out for batting practice and the game… So we got stuck in the Home Run Porch under the awful overhang. Anything had to be coming on a line to reach us. Carlos Gomez was up to bat and I was talking to Marcus Hanel out in Left Field and as I was talking to him I caught a Carlos Gomez ball on the fly for BASEBALL #1.

That was it for the time at Friday’s and @ 5 the doors opened for all to go to the bleachers. I went up and quickly for baseballs and spotted a goose egg for BASEBALL#2.

The next group to come to bat was Braun,Escobar, and two lefties. I was standing about 4 rows back in the isle in Left Center Field and Braun cracked one off of the bat and I thought the 2 people in front of me would nab it but I somehow got my glove in between and caught BASEBALL #3 on the fly and that was it for the day.

Friday, May 21 2010, Brewers V.S. Twins @ Target  Field

We started a 6 hour drive to Minneapolis at approx 8:00 in the morning. On our way we had to find something to entertain ourselves. Nothing better that making a sign or two to post on the window. Our first sign read this:
Surprisingly, it was mostly senior citizens that we had honk at us. But, if people didn’t honk we posted up the new sign that read, “I guess not…”. We only had one guy that told us we were number 1 if you know what I mean. It kept us entertained for the 6 hour ride which only felt like 2.

After we arrived at the Holiday Inn Metrodome we took a shuttle over to the nearest rain station at paid 50 cents for out downtown tick and go to see this happen:
car crash.jpgYup, we witnessed a car crash. The squeal of the tires and the BOOM! The guy across from the train station says,”That Son of a Bitch in that white van (it’s a white truck…) ran that red light!” It was quite comical after they were ok. And we also saw the Metrodome which blended into the dark blah sky.
Metrodome.jpgAfter that when we arrived to Target Field we took a walk around the park, into the gift shop. We also then went into the skywalk and looked around for a bit. When I went to Gate 34 this was my view:
Gate 34.jpgBeautiful Target Field in front of my eyes! When the gates opened 2 hours ahead of time I quickly snagged BASEBALL #1 off the bat of Twins star Joe Mauer. It was a shot hit into the second deck.

After that I decided to go down by the Brewers dugout because I don’t get to see them that up close at home. I’ll start off with a few pictures:
Target Field.jpg
Target Field 2.jpg
Target Field 3.jpg

Rickie Weeks was walking out after warming up with Alcides Escobar and he had a baseball in hand. As he was just passing third base I was standing behind the dugout and I yelled for Rickie waved my hands and he threw me BASEBALL #2!

After that I went up to the Home Run Porch for BP and sucessfully snagged BASBEBALL #3 off the bat of Ryan Braun. The Brewers got smoked in a 7 run 1st inning and ended up loosing 15-3. Not a good day for the Brew Crew. I’ll say good bye with some pictures!
