I recently attended Brewers On Deck last weekend and I must say it was great o get back into the baseball mood. Opening Day is only a month and a half away and I can not wait. The Brewers look promising this year and the team seems to be happy. We just need to get that Rickie Weeks deal done.
My plans this coming year consist of attending around 20 games at Miller Park and taking trips to Kansas City in April to visit Jeremy Jeffress, Lorenzo Cain, and Alcides Escobar. Then in June I’m planning on going to Miami for the Marlins series with Matt, Nick, and Kenny. Then two weeks after that if the plans come through going to historic Fenway park for a visit to see the Crew take on Red Sox Nation. Then to wrap up my road trips I’d like to hit up PNC Park in Pittsburgh with Wiley, Matt, and family.
I’m hoping to have another successful year in terms of catching baseballs and enjoying myself at the park. The Brewers keep me out of trouble in the summer. I will be attending the Arctic Tailgate sometime at the end of this month to get my Opening Day tickets and a few other games I’d really like to go to. I’ll take some pictures and have a post about the tailgate. Superbowl XLV is coming up!
GO PACK GO!
Once again today I woke up at 7 with the intentions of playing catch with Brewers Pitcher Jeremy Jeffress:
After the game Jeremy Jeffress tossed me his hat and I got Corey Hart and Rickie Weeks batting gloves. It was the best day of my life. I can’t thank Jeremy Jeffress enough.
2 Baseball’s, Catch with? haha

My day started with me waking up at 5 AM to head to Miller Park to pick up my buddy Kenny. We left Miller Park around 6 and were on our way to Cincinnati for the 3 game homestand against our Milwaukee Brewers. I was very excited to go to Cincinnati and talk with some of the Brewers and get some autographs. We arrived at our hotel in Cincy around 2 PM ET time. As soon as we got checked in we went to the players entrance to try for some autographs and some pictures. I started off the day with a Casey McGehee autograph and picture as well as autographs from Craig Counsell and Trevor Hoffman and pictures with all of them and Alcides Escobar. I learned that either Ryan Braun, 1) Is not very observant at Miller Park, 2) Has a mental problem, or 3) Like to lie and is a flat out dick. I said Hi to him and asked him if he remembered Matt and I shouting during BP Ay Brauny! Every single day we are there and he said no I don’t remember that. I am starting to dislike him more and more every day. Here’s so pictures of the start of the day.
I decided to move over to Left Field to play some lefties and to see what would happen.
This would be my view and BASEBALL #3 and BASEBALL #4 would get tossed to me by Brandon Kintzler and Joe Inglett. I would proceed to catch another baseball on the fly for BASEBALL #5 off the bat of George Kottaras. Jeremy was happy when I caught the ball and I gave him a fist pump. That was my 304th career baseball and 150th of the year.
For the game this was our view:
One homer was hit in the game and it was Weeks deep to CF. We came close to 2 at the wall but that was it. Good day #1 in Cincinnati.
5 Baseball’s, 3 batted (2 on the fly), 2 toss up’s

The week started with me texting my cousin Wiley asking him how many baseballs he guessed I’d get from game to game. Most of the games he was right in guessing. We had fun with that. Anyways Monday (9/20) Matt and I went to Brewers BP as usual. I got Brewers September call up Jeremy Jeffress to toss me a baseball as well as Reds Edinson Volquez when the gates opened. During Reds bp I caught one on the fly and picked one up as it was bouncing around the bleachers putting me at 4 on the day.
After getting 13 the day before I had a hunch that today would be some type of hangover. Yeah, it was. I got a toss up from Alcides Escobar at Friday’s and a Reds pitcher tossed me up a baseball after I was lining up to catch a ball off the bat in the bleachers and some random guy came over and swated it before it hit my glove. Nick stuck up for me and the Reds players were a bit confused as to why he did it and tossed me a ball. So I only ended up with 2 on the day. 😦
The next day we went was Thursday and I was hoping for a better day than the 2 that I had the day before. I got Burke Badenhop to toss me up a baseball as well as old Brewer Mike Rivera, and Marlins OF Cameron Maybin and Pitcher Jose Ceda after Lorenzo Cain under threw me in the Tundra Section in the first inning. I ended at 4 on the day to end it. The Brewers Sausages decided to race on some Harley’s as well before the game. Haha!
The last day out of this home stand attending BP was the Saturday home game against the Marlins. (9/25) We got sat under the overhang in Friday’s. A ball got hit in the net and I proceeded to do all I could to try and get the baseball. After Brewers P Mark Rogers saw me struggling he tossed me a ball, but in that time I was trying to use Matt’s glove to grab the baseball out of the net because it was longer and I ended up catching Rogers toss up in Matt’s glove. I thought that was funny. I thought I was going to drop it. I then took a menu to the ball in the net and rolled the ball up as far as I could and grabbed it. During Marlins BP I ended up catching a Cameron Maybin BP HR on the fly and got Pitcher Burke Badenhop to toss me another baseball for the 2nd straight day. 4 to end the series in Milwaukee for the year.
27 baseballs in the homestand, 7 easter eggs, 11 toss up’s, 9 batted up.

Good thing I have a trip to Cincinnati to see the Brewers play the reds left being stuck at 299 career baseballs. Jeremy Jeffress told me he’d play catch with me in Cin so hopefully that racks me up Baseball 300!
